About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account / Admin Assistant to join our team, playing a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of a newly established Pilates Studio and Acai Cafe. 

You will contribute to the smooth running of the day-to-day accounts function, ensuring work is completed accurately and to a high standard. This is a varied role within a busy environment, requiring a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing daily sales across both areas of the business.
  • Processing purchase invoices.
  • Reconciling sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Completing bank cash reconciliations.
  • Preparing payments for authorisation and processing.
  • Posting monthly journals.
  • Monitoring cash flow.
  • Processing payroll.
  • Maintaining employee records.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
  • Providing full administrative support.

Requirements

  • In-depth experience using Xero Accounting,
  • Experience processing payroll.
  • Previous experience in a similar accounts administration role.
  • This is an on-site role requiring daily attendance at the head office.
