Warehouse Operative

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to take ownership of our stores function. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day operations, supporting both production and dispatch activities.

You will help maintain accurate inventory levels and work closely with internal teams to ensure stock is effectively managed. This is an opportunity to be part of a team committed to high standards, accuracy, and continuous improvement, with all processes aligned to ISO requirements.

• Manage incoming deliveries by checking quantities against supplier documentation and accurately book goods into the inventory system
• Pick products for dispatch and production
• Pack small control panels for courier shipment or customer collection
• Monitor inventory levels and support timely reordering
• Liaise with the purchaser to ensure stock is reordered and maintained at appropriate levels
• Report discrepancies to the office
• Independently lead and manage the stores function, ensuring efficient daily operations
• Working online with our ISO requirements

• Previous knowledge of inventory systems
• Worked in a store's role for 2+ years
• Manual handling
• Forklift truck license
• This is an on-site role requiring attendance at the workplace on a daily basis

While prior experience in the electrical industry is not required, a strong ability to remember product codes and storage locations is essential.
